Find the why behind your goal

By Krystal Zellmer

Having goals is imperative to you moving forward in your life. Goals create action. Now, if you have already set some goals that is awesome! What happens when that goal gets tough? It can be hard to power through to accomplish your goal if you are not connected to WHY that goal is important to you.

Your “why” is your vision, or your purpose. Having your goal connected to your why is like having deep roots in the ground. The wind can blow and the earth can shake, but a tree that is deeply rooted in the earth will not fall. As Brian Klemmer said in If How To’s Were Enough We Would All Be Skinny, Rich, & Happy, “The ‘Why’ is the fuel that powers your goals and gives meaning to your accomplishments.”
